Even during this pandemic period, Milan doesn’t give up its role as international capital of design. At first, the Salone del Mobile, which has become an essential point of reference for all the enthusiasts of the project, has been postponed to next year. Then it was decided to partially recover it by organizing a Fuorisalone in digital version. 4 digital formats will be in fact available on the platform Fuorisalone.it with new interesting projects that will be held from the 15th to the 21st of June.
Fuorisalone.tv will provide a schedule of live contents (talks, interviews, product presentations, concerts) with the participation of designers and leaders of the industrial design world. Fuorisalone Meets is rather conceived to create direct connections between companies, insiders and a selected public through the presentation of new products.
Fuorisalone China represents the first step of a cooperation project with the most important Chinese Design Weeks, whereas Fuorisalone Japan is a new web platform totally dedicated to Japan. Supervised by a team that operates both in Japan and Italy, this project is intended not only for architects, designers and companies, but also for the Japanese public and is aimed at promoting the culture of Milan Design Week.
