At the foot of Plan de Corones in Alto Adige, Matteo Thun designed Falkensteiner Hotel Kronplatz, an elegant 5-star hotel with the highest environmental and energy sustainability standards.

While we wait to start travelling again soon without any restrictions, savouring again the pleasure of discovering new places, let us introduce you a comfortable and elegant 5-star hotel recently opened and designed with the innovative format “adults only”. We are talking about Falkensteiner Hotel Kronplatz, located at the foot of Plan de Corones in Riscone, a few kilometres from Brunico, Alto Adige. Designed by Matteo Thun, the structure allows to enjoy the charming landscape of the surrounding Dolomites in a context of absolute comfort and wellness. The hotel is built according to the highest environmental and energy sustainability standards, it has 76 rooms, 11 Junior Suites, 4 Loft Suites and 6 Summit Suites made in steamed larch, a natural material perfect for creating warm and welcoming environments.

An intimate, cosy alpine design also characterises the Acquapura Mountain SPA, wellness area distributed on three floors and including two swimming pools, a 25-metre sports pool and a very scenic rooftop pool surrounded by a large terrace. The spa offer is completed by a biosauna, a Finnish sauna, eight cosmetic and relax treatment rooms, a private spa, a yoga room, a fitness area, a spa lounge and many relax areas, both indoors and outdoors. The cuisine is also of a high standard, offering a wide range of Sudtirol flavours but also typical dishes of Argentina, Japan, Alaska, Tibet, Peru and Tanzania, all countries famous for their mountains.
