De Rosso, the playful side of design

De Rosso presents a Limited Edition signed by 5 creative talents who through pop quotes and references to the design style of Alchimia and Memphis retrace the history of this company, leader of laminate furnishings for over 30 years.

To celebrate the over 30 years of activity of De Rosso, leading company in laminate furnishings, Roberto De Rosso, its owner, gave life to a special limited edition dedicated to all design collectors and lovers. To make it he widely drew from the company archives proposing revisited classics and new designs involving in the project five creative talents including designers, architects and artists (Martine Bedin, Richard Hutten, Paola Navone, Ugo Nespolo, Adam Nathaniel Furman) with different personal backgrounds and careers yet in perfect balance for nationality, generation and gender. What they have in common is their exuberant use of colour applied to De Rosso’s creative philosophy between Pop Art quotes, references to the Alchimia movement and to the style of Memphis. The first series, made up of seven pieces and some variants, certified in limited edition, also includes complements covering the various areas of the domestic environment, perfect in group but also taken individually.

From the totem bookshelf by Martine Bedin to Richard Hutten’s sculptural seat (available in five kaleidoscopic versions), to the theme of cupboards and containers ironically interpreted by Paola Navone; from the allegoric pop graphic-patterned table by Ugo Nespolo to the new animal-shaped pieces signed by Adam Nathaniel Furman like the hedgehog-coffee table and the funny squirt-chair ready to bite those sitting on it.
